Richard Lewis and Susie Essman to Perform Stand-up at The Venetian June 4-6

Two stars from the Emmy-nominated series “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” Richard Lewis and Susie Essman, will perform a limited engagement at The Venetian Las Vegas in June. Lewis and Essman will perform a 75-minute set of sarcastic and fast-paced stand-up for three nights, June 4 – 6, at 9 p.m. inside the 742-seat Venetian Showroom.

Recognized by Comedy Central as one of the top 50 stand-up comedians of all time and charted on GQ Magazine’s list of the “20th Century’s Most Influential Humorists,” Richard Lewis is often regarded by his peers as a comic’s comic. Dressed in his signature black attire, Lewis has made a career turning misery into comedy and coined the infamous phrase, “I had a date from Hell!” In addition to being a television and movie star and comedian, Lewis is also an author of his memoir, “The Other Great Depression.” Lewis is currently shooting the seventh season of “Curb Your Enthusiasm” and touring his “Misery Loves Company Stand-Up Tour.”

With more than 20 years of stand-up comedy experience, Susie Essman is most well-known for her role as the malevolent Susie Greene on HBO’s Emmy nominated show, “Curb Your Enthusiasm.” Much like her role as Susie Greene, Essman’s stand-up is satirical and biting balanced by a razor-sharp wit. Essman has appeared in television shows such as “Law and Order” and “The King of Queens” and movies such as “Keeping The Faith” and “The Siege.”

Ticket prices are $35.75, $55.75 and $75.75 inclusive of tax and handling fees. A limited number of VIP Packages, which include front-row seats and the opportunity to meet Lewis and Essman after the show, will be available for $125.75 per person plus tax and handling fees. Performance dates are subject to change. To make reservations, visit www.venetian.com, call 702.414.9000, or visit any Venetian Box Office.
