Rick Faugno Debuts New Show in The Lounge at the Palms Casino Resort
Las Vegas headliner and Broadway veteran, Rick Faugno will perform a self-titled show in The Lounge at the Palms Casino Resort on Tuesdays, to begin Jan. 17 at 9 p.m. On Friday, Jan. 6, Faugno took a hiatus – duration to be announced – from his show, “Body & Soul,” performed in Shimmer Cabaret at Las Vegas Hilton.
In Faugno’s new one-man show, audiences will experience a combination of the upbeat New Classic Vegas styles of Blues, Jazz, Soul, Pop, Rock, and Latin genre. His journey of self-expression includes music by innovative performers such as James Brown, Sammy Davis, Jr., Michael Jackson, and Frank Sinatra, as well as original tracks Faugno wrote himself.
Faugno has performed for packed houses in Las Vegas for the past four years. His lead role as Frankie Valli in “Jersey Boys” and his debut one-man show, “Songs My Idols Sang (and Danced)” earned him numerous accolades. His latest show, “Body & Soul” at Las Vegas Hilton has received rave reviews.
“I’m ecstatic about expanding my reach in Las Vegas,” stated Faugno. “To be able to do that at The Palms is a dream. I’m excited to take an additional demographic on my musical journey. The new show is full of energy and encompasses everything from singing to piano-playing to drumming to tap dancing. It’s going to be a party!”
Faugno will perform every Tuesday, to begin Jan. 17 at 9 p.m. in The Lounge at the Palms Casino Resort. Doors will open at 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 (including tax and service charge) and can be purchased at 702-944-3200, www.palms.com, or at the Palms Box Office.
