Rick Faugno Moves One Man Show “Body & Soul” to Shimmer Cabaret at Las Vegas Hilton

Actor, singer, dancer, and Broadway veteran, Rick Faugno is moving his one man show, “Body & Soul” to Friday nights in Shimmer Cabaret at the Las Vegas Hilton beginning Oct. 21, 2011. 

While still performing as Frankie Valli in “Jersey Boys,” Faugno began spreading his wings and collaborating with some of the most talented musicians in Las Vegas. In May 2011, Faugno debuted his one man show, “Body & Soul” at the Las Vegas Hilton. His final performance as Frankie Valli in the Tony award-winning show, “Jersey Boys” was Oct. 9.

“Every artist has to do new things and challenge themselves in new ways,” stated Faugno. “I’ve had an amazing career so far and will miss ‘Jersey Boys’; however, I’m truly excited about my new show, ‘Body & Soul’ at the Las Vegas Hilton. It encompasses my early stage influences and my original work in music and dance. I look forward to performing for Friday night audiences.”

Faugno performs every Friday, beginning Oct. 21, during “Body & Soul” at 8:30 p.m. in Shimmer Cabaret at the Las Vegas Hilton. ABOUT RICK FAUGNO
Rick Faugno has been performing professionally since the age of 12 when he played Will Rogers, Jr. in “Will Rogers Follies” on Broadway. Faugno went on to study acting and theatre, and earned a bachelor of fine arts degree from New York University. Since, his career has included such memorable shows as “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang,” “Fosse,” “Wonderful Town,” and “Conversations with My Father” on Broadway, as well as national tours of “The Boy Friend,” directed by Julie Andrews and “Jersey Boys,” in the critically acclaimed role of Frankie Valli. In 2010, Faugno showcased a standards-influenced songbook in “Songs My Idols Sang (And Danced)” and is currently the star of the New Classic Vegas one man show, “Body & Soul” at the Las Vegas Hilton.
