and Atomic Entertainment just wrapped production on a new series called Making Magic. The show is similar to Jerry Seinfeld’s Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, but instead of comedians, the show features magicians (Pictured: Rick Lax making some magic with a Rubik’s Cube – Photo credit: Jon Gartner)

Making Magic gives viewers a peek behind the curtain,” Lax tells us. “People are used to seeing polished illusions on shows like Fool Us and Magic For Humans. They never get to meet the men and women behind the tricks…until now.”

Lax and Atomic partnered to create Making Magic, which will air on “Facebook Watch,” Facebook’s on-demand video service. After that, Lax and Atomic have plans to take the show to another platform.

“I try to watch every magic show on every platform,” Lax says. “Serious shows like Death By Magic and production shows like Masters of Illusion. But this new show, Making Magic, will be different. We don’t take ourselves too seriously. This show is about creating impossible moments and having fun.”
