Ring in 2011 at TAO and LAVO; Party on the 31st and Recover on the 1st

New Year’s Eve celebrations in Las Vegas always top the list for best parties of the year and TAO and LAVO will continue that tradition when ushering in 2011. Kim Kardashian will lead the countdown at TAO inside The Venetian while a surprise guest will oversee festivities at LAVO inside The Palazzo, which also offers prime fireworks viewing from the expansive Strip-front terrace.

At each hot spot, guests will be able to savor passed hors d’oeuvres while partaking in an open bar from 9 pm – 11 pm, and can clink glasses with revelers with a champagne toast at midnight. After midnight your TAO or LAVO ticket stub provides access to both clubs, offering two parties in one.

Tickets start at $200 for TAO and $150 for LAVO and are available at the Venetian and Palazzo box offices or at www.taolasvegas.com or www.lavolv.com. For VIP table reservations call 702.388.8588.

On New Year’s Day recover with TAO and LAVO’s “Hangover Relief” pre-fixe menus and fuel up for a Saturday night in Vegas. TAO Asian Bistro will offer selections designed to offer relief, including TAO Ramen Soup with Poached Chicken and “Drunken” Lobster Pad Thai for a little hair of the dog. Tempura Fruits with Creamy Dark Chocolate Fondue will give just the sugar rush needed to propel guests to the nightclub upstairs. At LAVO the Italian eatery will serve up comforting options such as Chickarina Soup and Grilled Kobe Hanger “Over” Steak with Chocolate Ravioli for dessert. The pre-fix menu is $65 per person, excluding tax and gratuity. The restaurants will also feature The Resolution specialty cocktail. At LAVO the libation features Ketel Citroen, St. Germain, pineapple and lime juices, while the TAO cocktail has Grey Goose Le Citron, Canton, white cranberry juice and sour mix.
