Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino Presents Start of World Series of Poker Main Event
The World Series of Poker’s Main Event begins next week with a series of four heats. Heat one starts Monday, July 5 with the largest-attended heat being the fourth on Thursday, July 8. The top names in poker gather around for a chance to be named poker’s world champion and to wear the coveted WSOP gold bracelet.
On Thursday, July 8th all contenders will have begun their pursuit of winning the most coveted prize in gaming. Final contestant entries and total winning amount will be determined the evening of July 8th.
On July 8th, reigning WSOP champion Joe Cada will kick off the grand tournament with the Shuffle Up and Deal at noon. The final number of competitors as well as the championship grand prize will be announced later that evening.
