On November 18, 2013, “Rock of Ages” star, Mark Shunock, who plays Lonny the narrator in the hit musical at The Venetian, hosted the premiere of his new show “Mondays Dark.” The monthly charity show is performed at Body English in the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas (Pictured: “Glee” star Dot Marie Jones with Mark Shunock – Photo credit: Bryan Steffy / WireImage / www.BryanSteffyPhoto.com).

The first show benefited Opportunity Village, Las Vegas’ favorite charity. Mondays Dark guests and performers included Glee’s Dot Marie Jones, Absinthe’s Melody Sweets, singer Zowie Bowie with electric violinist Lydia Ansel and kids from Opportunity Village who performed a tribute to Elvis.

Mark Shunock’s goal is to gather an eclectic cast of four to six guests including stars from Hollywood, Vegas headliners, musical acts, athletes and celebrity chefs for 90 minutes of chat, entertainment – and a lot of laughs. Each month “Mondays Dark” will partner with a different Las Vegas-based charity and Shunock’s goal is to raise $10,000 per month for each charity, with an estimated grand total of more $100,000 over the next twelve months.
