Michaels multi-platinum music collaboration with Poison produced the hits “Talk Dirty to Me”, “Something to Believe In” “Nothing But a Good Time” and #1 hit “Every Rose Has its Thorn”.

Keeping true to his rock and roll roots Bret has branched out as a solo artist, and is enjoying a wildly successful run as a reality star, businessman, and activist. Michaels most recent solo release, “Custom Built” shot to Number One on the Billboard Top Hard Rock Album chart, while his smash VH1 show, “ Bret Michaels: Life as I Know It” catapulted him and his entire family into the limelight.

But just in case the leap from Rock Star to Reality Star wasn’t daunting enough; Bret took on a new title in May of 2010: entrepreneur. Michaels went head to head with some of the brightest minds in business on NBC hit, “Celebrity Apprentice” and went on to “Trump” the competition with his “Trop-A-Rocka” Snapple drink, spurring host and mentor Donald Trump to say, “Bret you’ve been popular, everyone’s loved you, you’ve been imaginative, you’ve done an amazing job in every single way… you’ve proven to be very brave.”  Michaels, a lifelong diabetic, donated his $250,000 prize to diabetes research and is now a spokesperson for the American Diabetes Association.

In addition to his tour, Michaels is also sharing his personal story including the ups and down of his personal life with his fans.  His autobiography “Roses and Thorns” will be released this summer.

Bret Michaels “Life Rocks Tour 2011” is part of the ongoing “Eastside Rocks” concert lineup which brings a diverse mixture of talent to the Boulder Highway including popular performers and new artists.
