“Salvation” Star Jennifer Finnigan Gets a Unique Birthday Surprise at Andiamo Italian Steakhouse
It’s no secret: Andiamo Italian Steakhouse, nestled inside the D Casino Hotel, sees no shortage of famous power couples. This past weekend proved to be no different when “Weekend at Bernie’s” actor Jonathan Silverman decided to throw a celebratory birthday dinner for his wife, “Salvation” star Jennifer Finnigan (Pictured: Jennifer Finnigan and Jonathan Silverman dine at Andiamo Italian Steakhouse Las Vegas – Photo credit: the D Casino Hotel).
The couple were joined by other famous friends- “Prison Break” actor Mac Brandt, soap star Chris McKenna, and star of the upcoming “I Feel Bad”, Paul Adelstein. The birthday group dined on some of the restaurant’s signature entrees, including salads, steak, pasta, and oysters.

After dinner, it was time for Jennifer’s one-of-a-kind surprise. Our Earth may have stopped spinning on its axis as D Executive, Richard Wilk, wheeled out a brand new Earth- that’s right- a detailed, custom-made “Salvation” themed cake.

Jennifer, whose character is strongly dedicated to saving the planet, was astounded by the sight.

The cake, presented on behalf of D Casino Owner, Derek Stevens, was adorned with “Save Us Jennifer” icing text as a finishing touch. While the cake looked too perfect to carve into, that actually wasn’t the case. After snapping photos and videos for her own social media, Jennifer eagerly sliced into the Earth, revealing its surprise carrot cake center. Her jaw dropped yet again, as her own world revolves around carrot cake.

The group were later seen dancing to Fremont Street’s live entertainment from the D’s VIP owner’s box and chatting at the property’s world-famous LONGBAR with owner Derek Stevens, and his wife Nicole.

Afterwards, Derek took the couple on a tour of his very first casino, Golden Gate, where he introduced them to his daughter Whitney at its iconic Bar Prohibition.
