Guests attending the The Australian Bee Gees Show at the Excalibur Hotel & Casino received a pleasant surprise as famed Dolly Parton impersonator Sandy Vee Anderson joined the band on stage.
Anderson and the group performed “Islands in the Stream.” Written by The Bee Gees, the song was famously recorded by Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton in 1983.
Founded in 1996, The Australian Bee Gees Show – A Tribute to the Bee Gees has called the Excalibur Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas home since 2012. Capturing the look, sound and personality of one of the most successful groups in music history, the veteran performers bring a high-energy production, guaranteed to have audiences on the dance floor.
The show features iconic classics that changed the sound of music, including “You Should Be Dancing,” “Stayin’ Alive,” “To Love Somebody,” “Night Fever” and “How Can You Mend a Broken Heart,” among others. The multi-media concert event utilizes state-of-the-art sound and superb lighting coupled with giant screens featuring video clips, live camera images and stunning graphics.
