Sarah McLachlan Makes Wynn Las Vegas Debut with “An Intimate Evening of Songs and Storytelling” at Encore Theater
Last night (April 24, 2019), celebrated singer-songwriter Sarah McLachlan made her Wynn Las Vegas debut with a sold-out performance of “An Intimate Evening of Songs and Storytelling” at Encore Theater (Photo credit: Erik Kabik / www.ErikKabik.com).
McLachlan began the night with a solo performance of “In Your Shoes,” followed by other crowd favorites like “Possession” and “I Will Remember You.” Throughout the show, McLachlan shared stories from her 30-plus year career and split time on the piano, electric and acoustic guitar while accompanied by cellist Vanessa Freebairn-Smith. McLachlan returned to the stage for an encore performance at the conclusion of the show to perform her new song “Wilderness.”
McLachlan’s performance marked her first return to the Las Vegas Strip in more than eight years. She will return to the stage with back-to-back performances this Friday, April 26 and Saturday, April 27 at 8 p.m.
