Scissor Sisters to Perform at The Pearl at The Palms Sept. 10

With rave reviews pouring in for their latest studio album Night Work, glam influenced Scissor Sisters bring their cutting edge dance tracks to The Pearl Concert Theater inside the Palms Casino Resort on Friday, September 10, 2010 at 9:00 p.m.

Hailing from the art scene side of New York, fans never know what to expect from the Scissor Sisters: Their concerts are some of the most talked about live shows with the perfect amount of “performance art” mixed with their thrilling stylistic musical act.

In 2004, Scissor Sisters released their self-titled album which reached #1 on the Billboard Top Electronic Albums. The group received a great deal of attention and a Grammy nomination for Best Dance Record for the single “Comfortably Numb,” a remake of the Pink Floyd classic.

In 2006 the highly anticipated follow up Ta-Dah featured the single “I Don’t Feel Like Dancin’” and the album peaked at #19 on The Billboard 200 showing a crossover appeal to the general listening audience. Recently released Night Work features the single “Invisible Life” and has received tremendous reviews from critics since its June release.
