Second Annual Amazing Las Vegas Comic Con Brings Comics, Celebrities, Costumes to Vegas June 20-22, 2014

The Amazing Las Vegas Comic Convention returns to South Point Hotel & Casino in June, bringing the creators of many of this summer’s blockbuster movies together under one roof (Pictured: Justice League – Copyright/Trademark DC Entertainment)

The event will feature the latest and greatest from the world of comic books, including celebrity guests from AMC’s hit series The Walking Dead, and stars from SyFy Channel and The Travel Channel.

The second annual convention will take place at South Point Hotel & Casino June 20-22, 2014, and will feature a show floor packed with more than 300 exhibitors, an exciting artist alley with more than 200 artists, and autograph sessions, which will give fans access to some of their favorite comic book creators.

“We have packed this year’s convention with even more creative and exciting programming, and know it will be an unforgettable event,” said Jimmy Jay, co-owner of Jay Company Comics and promoter of Amazing Las Vegas Comic Con. “We are thrilled to bring the architects of pop culturef together, which means that fans will be able to meet the creators of their favorite comics-turned-movie blockbusters in one weekend.”

Some of these guests include:

  • George Perez – creator of Infinity Gauntlet, a tale that drives both the Avengers franchise and the Guardians of the Galaxy
  • Rob Liefeld – creator of DEADPOOL, the most popular character in the Marvel Universe, and X-Men mainstays Cable, Domino, Shatterstar and X-Force
  • Steve Epting – creator of Captain America: Winter Soldier. Epting is best known for relaunching Captain America, but his esteemed career includes credits on Superman, X-Men: Age of Apocalypse, and the Avengers
  • Len Wein – creator of Wolverine and the X-Men, popularized by this summer’s big film from FOX Additionally, Michael Cudlitz, the actor who stars as Abraham on AMC’s hit show The Walking Dead will attend the show and be available for autographs and photo ops on both Saturday and Sunday.

Weekend passes are $60, Saturday passes are $35, and Friday- or Sunday-only passes are $25. VIP tickets range from $150-$200. Tickets are available at the South Point box office, or online.
