Even though Vegas is gearing up for summer, Winter is coming to The Space with the Las Vegas premiere of “Thrones! The Musical Parody”
Direct from a sold-out runs in Los Angeles, Chicago, London and Scotland;, the smash-hit, critically-acclaimed musical parody of Game of Thrones hits the stage for a limited, nine-show run at The Space (3460 Cavaretta Court) Friday, July 14 – Sunday, July 23 nightly at 8 p.m.
One for die-hard fans to truly indulge in, the talented cast sing and dance their way through their own warped and hilarious version of the popular series’ plots and twists, with a few extra of their own thrown in for mirthful measure. Thrones! looks in on six friends – Leslie, Jen, Ross, Brad, Tom and Nicole as they gather for the season finale of “Game of Thrones.” Soon the group discovers the ultimate travesty, one of the members does not watch the show. Over the course of the next 90 minutes, the group bands together to act out all six seasons (SPOILER ALERT) for the Thrones newbie, including dashing men battling white walkers, ravishing maidens riding fire-breathing dragons, the infamous “walk of shame” and much more.
Thrones! is brought to the stage by the same creative team behind “50 Shades! The Musical Parody” including Emily Dorezas with writers Chris Grace, Zach Reino, Al Samuels, Nick Semar and Dan Wessels; choreographer Kimberly McVicar; and director John Flynn. The cast includes Leslie Collins, Jessica Joy, Meghan Parks, Chris Grace, Jordan Stidham and Gabe Greenspan. Thrones! debuted to completely sold-out runs at the 2015 and 2016 Edinburgh Fringe Festival and was hailed as “darkly humorous and beautifully vulgar” (Edinburgh Festival Magazine) and “a resounding success!” (Sunday Times), followed by a sold-out, limited run at London’s Leicester Square Theatre. It recently played to sold-out crowds in Chicago at the Apollo Theater where the production “humor-filled spectacle” (Chicago Sun Times) and was hailed as “unfailingly witty and deliciously irreverent” (Performink).
