The second annual Asian Food Festival will bring Asian cuisine, beverages and entertainment to the Silverton Casino Hotel from noon to midnight on Saturday, Oct. 20, and from noon to 10 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 21. 

Sponsored by Lee’s Discount Liquor and McDonald’s of Greater Las Vegas and produced by Red Dragon Events & Promotions, this year’s event is expected to exceed last year’s attendance of 20,000 guests.

Food lovers will delight in delicious specialties from more than 25 authentic Asian restaurants including Thai 1 On Eats, Seoul Oak, Van Loi Deli and Island Malaysian Grill. This year’s event will also incorporate several of Las Vegas’ most popular food trucks serving Asian fare and more. Fukuburger, Truck Norris, Vizzi Truck and Dragon Grille will all have their food trucks on site, as well as Sin City Cupcakes which will debut its brand new food truck serving alcohol-infused cupcakes. The restaurants will represent several variations of Asian fare including Chinese, Thai, Japanese, Filipino, Korean, Hawaiian, Vietnamese and more. The exciting beer garden will refresh guests with an array of spirits including beer, sake, wine and cocktails.

Adults and children alike will be entertained by music, cultural performances, carnival rides, and games. Special guest celebrities include: Legaci, opening act for pop phenomenon Justin Bieber; Society of Seven, featuring “American Idol’s” Jasmine Trias; and DJ Baby Chino, the world’s youngest DJ, who will host a KidZone featuring child artists and performers. Families will also enjoy a family pavilion tent provided by McDonald’s of Greater Las Vegas, which will feature games, goody bags, $2 Arch cards, Happy Meal toy giveaways and more.

Guests will enjoy a martial arts section of the festival, produced by the Resurrection Fighting Alliance, including a mixed martial arts cage for photo opportunities and a meet and greet opportunity with several mixed martial arts fighters. In between the food, games and family fun, attendees will also enjoy perusing more than 50 multicultural retail stores and exhibitors featuring specialty Asian merchandise.

General admission tickets are just $10 per person, and include entry for both days and a chance to win prizes and giveaways throughout the event. A $2 discount will be offered on the tray liners at more than 80 McDonald’s locations in the Las Vegas Valley. Children under 48 inches tall will receive complimentary admission. Tickets are available for purchase through the Silverton Casino Hotel box office.

VIP packages, priced at $50 per person, are also available for purchase. The package includes VIP valet parking, premium sake tasting, a VIP goodie bag, appetizers and small bites, a hosted open bar by Lee’s Liquor and access to a private VIP tent.
