Sky Blu of LMFAO Launches New DJ Residency at Wet Republic at MGM Grand Hotel & Casino May 20
Sky Blu of LMFAO will debut “Who Came To Party!?” his new DJ residency at WET REPUBLIC at MGM Grand Hotel & Casino Sunday, May 20. With his first daytime residency in Las Vegas, the GRAMMY Award-nominee, singer, songwriter, producer and DJ will mesmerize the crowd with an electrifying party at the adults-only summer playground.
After spending five months recovering from a back injury, Sky Blu is making his big return with the announcement of his Vegas residency. He will join Redfoo on their international LMFAO concert tour “Sorry for Party Rocking” in between confirmed appearances at WET REPUBLIC. Once a month during major holiday weekends, the ultra pool will transform into a haven for bronzed bikini-clad partygoers to gather and dance under the sun as they lose themselves and check out “Who Came To Party!?” This new must-see, must-experience residency will have the most seasoned and selective partiers taking “Shots, Shots, Shots!” as Sky Blu spins his hits and new bangers to keep the pool “Party Rock-ing!”
Reaching beyond the traditional pool party experience, “Who Came To Party!?” will incorporate special guest DJs and artists, eclectic branded décor and handout swag to the hardest partiers. As an added bonus, Sky Blu will be joined by The Smiley Gang, featuring fellow Big Bad artists Shwayze, Mark Rosas, Chelsea Korka, BVillain, and will have special surprise guests throughout the duration of the residency. The five performance DJs and producers will take turns manning the decks as they spin their pulsating tracks while the others ramp up the crowd. Guests are invited to come out and join the party as Sky Blu and The Smiley Gang set the turntables ablaze, keeping the crowd packed and pumped up from behind the DJ booth.
WET REPUBLIC is an alluring 53,000-square-foot venue comprised of large saltwater pools, intimate dipping pools, daybed, banquets, tricked-out Bungalows and Party Cabanas. The adult pool destination features an open-air covered lounge serving as a place to mix, mingle, dance and dine. Unique culinary offerings, signature cocktails, premium bottle and pitcher service can be enjoyed in the lounge or ordered poolside. It also offers a dedicated valet for guests.
