Slice of Vegas Celebrates Vegan Pizza Day with Half-Priced Vegan Pizzas on June 29
Slice of Vegas at The Shoppes at Mandalay Place is featuring half-priced vegan pizzas on Saturday, June 29 in celebration of Vegan Pizza Day.
Offering special selections for health-conscious eaters and those with dietary restrictions, the restaurant’s vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free menu has continued to expand due to positive reviews and local support since its debut in late 2012.
With five meat-free pizza options, guests can enjoy the Vegan Faux Pie with Daiya mozzarella shreds, zucchini, squash, red onions, roasted pepper and eggplant or the Back East Buffalo pizza, featuring Daiya mozzarella shreds, Gardein Chick’n strips tossed in mild buffalo sauce, julienne carrots and julienne celery, finished with a drizzle of vegan ranch and buffalo sauce. Other popular pies include the Meatless Meatball made with fresh tomato pizza sauce and layered with Daiya mozzarella and sliced Gardein Meatless Meatballs and Hurry It’s Curry, consisting of curry sauce and Daiya cheese and the choice of Gardein Chick’n or vegetable mix with jicama, mint and basil slaw.
Slice of Vegas is open daily from 11 am – 11 pm and the By the Slice counter continues service on Friday and Saturday until 2 am.
