Returning to the Las Vegas Strip as the newest steakhouse in the city, Smith & Wollensky celebrated its long awaited return with a special Grand Opening celebration complete with a ceremonial Ribeye Cutting led by President and CEO Michael Feighery, Managing Partner Matthew Griffith and Vice President of Culinary Operations Matt King to commemorate the return to Las Vegas, as well as Kent and Lana Clark, the restaurant’s Ranch partners from Double R Ranch and John Zilliken, Sr. General Manager at Grand Canal Shoppes.

Boasting two stories tall, the all new classic steakhouse features a warm inviting atmosphere, complete with a tavern like open concept bar and lounge, located off the promenade level, just steps away from the South Canal Turnaround. The upper level features an impressive wine wall and a peek-a-boo view into the proprietary dry-aging butcher room; intimate 18 seat bar outfitted with mirror hidden televisions; a luxurious lounge complete with leather tufted booths and Lincoln chairs; and an intimate all glass private room overlooking the bar and promenade; complete with several private dining rooms that are fully equipped with state-of-the-art A/V accommodations allowing for groups from 40 to 500.

Guests can enjoy over-the-top steak and wine experiences featuring renowned USDA Prime steaks and signature filets produced by Double R Ranch, hand-butchered and further enriched through in-house dry aging for 28 days, such as a 46 oz. porterhouse steak and a specialty 10 oz. coffee and cocoa rubbed filet, as well as premium seafood and award-winning wine lists, served with unparalleled hospitality for the ultimate Vegas steakhouse experience.

Menu highlights include starters and chef inspired dishes such as roasted beets (whipped goat cheese, pistachios, truffle honey); grilled bacon (burnt orange bourbon gastrique, pickled red banana pepper, green and opal basil); twin stuffed lobster tails (jumbo lump crab meat, fine herbs, drawn butter); lamb chops (roasted corn purée, mint and cilantro pesto); and more. Exclusive to the Las Vegas location, guests can indulge in a one-of-a-kind American wagyu Snake River Farms whole roasted porterhouse (64 oz. dry aged, crispy Yukon potatoes, served on a Himalayan salt block).

To complement the dining experience, Smith & Wollensky offers an extensive beverage and wine program. Guests can enjoy a full bar complete with craft cocktails such as an Aperol Spritz (aperol, prosecco, club soda, orange); Blueberry Gin Sour (gunpowder gin, fresh blueberry syrup, lemon juice, club soda); and highlighted signature martini and Manhattan offerings. Additionally, guests can imbibe with over a dozen beers including local Big Dog’s Brewing Company’s ‘Red Hydrant Brown Ale’ as well as a robust wine list featuring Smith & Wollensky’s private reserve of Sauvignon Blanc and Meritage, available by the glass or bottle, and a variety of sparkling, wine and red wines found from many regions of Italy as well as France, Spain and California.

Smith & Wollensky is open daily Sunday through Thursday from 5 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m. to 12 a.m. In addition, the bar offers extended hours Sunday through Thursday from 5 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. Starting on May 20, guests will be able to enjoy lunch service starting at 11:30 a.m. daily.
