Snoop Dogg to Perform at Hard Rock Cafe on the Strip Dec. 22
Hip-hop icon and legendary rapper, Snoop Dogg, comes to Hard Rock Cafe on the Las Vegas Strip Saturday, December 22 with special guests Pac Div.
The California native needs no introduction, as he is one of the most famous rappers of all time.
His music career catapulted to near-instant fame in 1992, when he was discovered by record producer Dr Dre.
Snoop has since sold over 30 million albums worldwide, and his debut album released in 1993, Doggystyle, reached No. 1 on both the Billboard 200 and R&B charts. Not limited by any musical genre, he produces g-funk, reggae, dub and West Coast hip hop music as well. His second album Tha Doggfather also debuted at No. 1 on both charts, and was certified double platinum in 1997.
With the release of Snoop’s 11th studio album Doggumentary, he continues to enhance his connection with his fans through his music. The album acts as a memoir of sorts- both chronicling his journey in the game thus far and plotting where his path will lead him in the future. The latest collection reflects everything that the world has come to embrace about Snoop. While delivering several of the bombastic street raps that initially propelled him to stardom, Doggumentary also boasts the sort of unpredictable collaborations that have made him so famous. The lead single ‘Wet’ sees him working with electropop duo The Cataracs to produce an entrancing and atmospheric club jam. His ability to stay at the forefront of popular culture has resulted in unwavering relevance, and Doggumentary is the perfect title for the man who continues to occupy the throne as the world’s most famous rapper.
