Soap Opera Stars Jason Thompson, Amelia Heinle and Bryton James to Celebrate Mother’s Day Weekend at “the D Las Vegas Soap Opera Festival” May 12
Soap opera fans and their families can celebrate Mother’s Day weekend in appropriate fashion at “the D Las Vegas Soap Opera Festival,” coming to the D Las Vegas Saturday, May 12. Daytime television lovers will have a chance to meet their favorite stars from The Young And The Restless in Downtown Las Vegas, including Jason Thompson (Billy Abbott), Amelia Heinle (Victoria Newman), and Bryton James (Devon Hamilton) for an unforgettable afternoon.
Faithful watchers will have a chance to get up close and personal with the soap opera actors by participating in a 90-minute Q&A. Additionally, every guest will receive an autographed photo and the opportunity to take pictures with the cast.
Born in St. Albert, Canada, Jason Thompson worked successfully in commercials and modeling before transitioning to acting. He joined the cast of “General Hospital” in November 2005 as Dr. Patrick Drake and received five Daytime Emmy Award nominations for his work. He joined the cast of The Young And The Restless in January 2016 as Billy Abbott.
Amelia Heinle joined The Young And The Restless in 2005 as Victoria Newman, daughter of the rich and powerful Victor and Nikki Newman. She won the Daytime Emmy Award for “Outstanding Supporting Actress” in a Drama Series in both 2014 and 2015.
Bryton James is an American actor, voice artist, and singer. He began his career at four years old, portraying Richie Crawford on the sitcom Family Matters. He is best known for playing Devon Hamilton on the CBS soap opera, The Young And The Restless and has completed over 500 episodes.
