Stars Grace Fremont Street Experience During “Fear the Walking Dead: Survival” Grand Opening
Lights! Cameras! …Blood? Las Vegas’ newest and scariest thrill attraction, Fear the Walking Dead: Survival, officially opened its doors Tuesday evening. Of course, those spooky doors didn’t open without a massive ceremony right in the middle of the Fremont Street Experience (Pictured: Derek Stevens with wife Nicole Parthum at “Fear The Walking Dead Survival” Red Carpet – Photo credit: the D Las Vegas).
Fog machines, a (blood-stained) red carpet, and stars of the AMC smash hit, Fear the Walking Dead were only a few elements of the huge event. Kim Dickens, Colman Domingo, Michael Greyeyes, and Chris Hardwick were no strangers to the scary surroundings, and each posed flawlessly next to the attraction’s “infected” cast.

The D Casino Hotel owner (and arguably the face of downtown), Mr. Derek Stevens, was joined by his beautiful wife, Nicole, and of course, the bloody “infected” cast, for a fun photo op on the red carpet that resulted in a media frenzy!

Reality TV star, Horny Mike, made the crowd go crazy as he hit the carpet, horns and all with singer Kelle Jansky! No blood stains were evident on the Counting Cars star, as he was dressed for the occasion in a complete red getup. Mayor Carolyn Goodman also captured everybody’s attention with an awesome speech right before the official grand opening.

Even the “infected” get tired sometimes, so some of the attractions’ cast chose the D as their downtown destination. They were also joined by the property’s beautiful Miss D Legs runner up, Ruthie Gastineau.
