Still Haven’t Seen The Sound Collage? They’re Opening for Leno This Weekend
Following their successful appearance opening for Bill Maher last Friday, the a cappella group The Sound Collage is set to team up with Jay Leno this Saturday, August 6th at The Mirage, with a twenty-minute set of Top 40 music set to beatboxing and vocal looping (Sound Collage photo credit: Radiant, Inc)

If you have yet to check out their videos, get on Facebook and take a peek.  Elly Brown, Shannon Joyel, Jaclyn McSpadden and Joshua Danger bring Tech Noir looks and vintage harmonies into the hottest songs on the radio today—with a killer dose of bass and beatboxing.

“We don’t use any instruments.  It’s completely a cappella and entirely made up of sounds made by the human voice”, says vocal DJ and arranger Joshua Danger.  “We sing Lorde, Janelle Monae, and Bruno Mars, but the girls kick the heat up a notch with their vintage hairdos, skinny jeans and killer vocal blend”.

Indeed, some people like Joshua Danger’s arrangements better than the originals.  Their video for their cover of Selena Gomez’s “Same Old Love” perfectly exemplifies how Mister Danger can transform a track you’ve heard on the radio a hundred times into a fresh listening experience.

“I make a point to take popular songs in completely unexpected directions.   The effect is pretty cool when you see people singing along, but to our TSC renditions.  All I can say is, get ready to be thrilled by the Sound.”
