Stratosphere Casino Hosts Shift4 Boy Scout CEO/Executive SkyJump Challenge

More than a dozen Las Vegas based CEOs, top executives and politicians will SkyJump 855 feet from the top of the Stratosphere Tower the morning of Friday, March 25th to raise money for youth served through the Boy Scouts Scoutreach program.   The jumps will take place between 6:30am and 9:00am.

Each participant must raise a minimum of $855 in pledges – one dollar for every foot – before they can take the plunge from SkyJump Las Vegas, the highest sky jump in the world.

“I am taking a leap of faith that Scouting will provide our kids, tomorrow’s leaders with the tools they will need to bring our country back to greatness.  I ask that you take the leap with me to help the next generation of Boy Scouts,” said Las Vegas Councilman Steve Ross, one of the scheduled SkyJumpers.

Corporate Sponsor Shift 4, along with the brave CEOs, executives and politicians scheduled to jump on March 25th, is expected to raise more than $20,000 for the Scoutreach program, which offers culturally diverse youth the opportunity to join Scouting. The Scoutreach program provides youth with a fun, positive and exciting outlet by providing age-appropriate activities such as woodworking, leather crafts, science, team sports, and earning Scout rank advancements.

“We’re grateful for our partnership with the Stratosphere for assisting to help raise funds for youth who may not otherwise experience the adventure of Scouting due to financial barriers or lack of parental involvement.  The Scoutreach program provides weekly programs at schools, apartment complexes and recreational centers for 2,000 youth annually”, said Ryan Moon, Director of Field Service for the Las Vegas Area Council, Boy Scouts of America.

“We recognize that investing in our community means investing in the long-term success and sustainability of our businesses” said Frank Riolo, CEO of American Casino & Entertainment Properties. “We are honored to be hosting this event and to be a part of this positive-impact initiative.”
