For one day only, thrill-seekers can cross the adrenaline-pumping ride off their bucket list at a special price, leaping from 855 feet above the Las Vegas Strip. In addition to this tremendous, one-time deal, this will also mark the first live SkyJump broadcast on Periscope to demonstrate Stratosphere’s commitment to “Keep Vegas Fun,” which is a cornerstone of its “Take Vegas Back” campaign.

Just like the uniqueness of Leap Year Day, SkyJump Las Vegas is a rare experience. The Guinness World Record holder is the only of its kind in North America and offers participants the exhilarating opportunity to experience a controlled 855-foot drop from the top of the iconic Stratosphere Tower.
Opened in 2010, riders of SkyJump Las Vegas are suited up in a special jumpsuit and connected to a high-speed “descender” machine. Under the supervision of trained SkyJump personnel, the jumper is escorted to the edge of a small platform where they step out and descend the full 108-story height of the Stratosphere Tower in approximately 17 seconds. Prior to reaching the ground, the “descender” machine slows the jumper down, bringing the jumper to a controlled and safe landing.
