Stratosphere Celebrates Leap Year Day with 50 percent off SkyJump Feb. 29
In celebration of Leap Year Day, Stratosphere Casino, Hotel & Tower is offering 50 percent off all SkyJump packages on Feb. 29.

For one day only, thrill-seekers can cross the adrenaline-pumping ride off their bucket list at a special price, leaping from 855 feet above the Las Vegas Strip. In addition to this tremendous, one-time deal, this will also mark the first live SkyJump broadcast on Periscope to demonstrate Stratosphere’s commitment to “Keep Vegas Fun,” which is a cornerstone of its Take Vegas Back campaign.

“With magnificent views of the entire Las Vegas Valley and a heart-pumping, 108-story leap, SkyJump is a must-do for all adventurists,” said Paul Hobson, general manager of Stratosphere Casino, Hotel & Tower. “There’s no better day to take the ultimate leap of faith!”

Just like the uniqueness of Leap Year Day, SkyJump Las Vegas is a rare experience. The Guinness World Record holder is the only of its kind in North America and offers participants the exhilarating opportunity to experience a controlled 855-foot drop from the top of the iconic Stratosphere Tower.

Opened in 2010, riders of SkyJump Las Vegas are suited up in a special jumpsuit and connected to a high-speed “descender” machine. Under the supervision of trained SkyJump personnel, the jumper is escorted to the edge of a small platform where they step out and descend the full 108-story height of the Stratosphere Tower in approximately 17 seconds. Prior to reaching the ground, the “descender” machine slows the jumper down, bringing the jumper to a controlled and safe landing.

SkyJump Las Vegas Packages: $109.99 per jump; $119.99 for jump and photo package; and $139.99 for jump and wristcam video package. The Leap Year Day offer must be purchased and redeemed on Feb. 29 and cannot be combined with the Nevada locals discount.

SkyJump Las Vegas Hours: Sunday to Thursday, 10 a.m. – 1 a.m.; Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. – 2 a.m.
