Stratosphere to Host Famous Cowboy, Cowgirl, NASCAR Driver Lookalike Contest Dec. 2
The Stratosphere Casino, Hotel & Tower, an official sponsor of National Finals Rodeo 2010, will hold a contest for the best Famous Cowboy, Cowgirl and NASCAR DriverLookalikes on Thursday, December 2 in Images Lounge. The competition begins at 10 p.m. and $100 in Free Slot Play will be awarded to each of the best lookalikes in these categories: Best TV/Movie Cowboy, Best TV/Movie Cowgirl, Best Cowboy Entertainer, Best Cowgirl Entertainer and Best NASCAR Driver.
Desert Outlaws, a talented and popular Country & Western band will perform live in Images Lounge during the festivities and emcee the lookalike contest.
NFR and NASCAR fans alike will appreciate the themed drink special: Gold Buckle Bottomless Margaritas featuring Sauza Gold Tequila from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. for only $25.
“Where else can you party with John Wayne, Dolly Parton and Kyle Busch lookalikes… and maybe win some gambling money,” said Matt Mascali, Stratosphere Director of Food & Beverage. “The bigger your buckle, the better.”
Stratosphere guests will also have an opportunity to win NFR tickets and Jim Beam swag in nightly drawings December 1 to 8. Drawing tickets can be earned by playing slots and blackjack. Details are available at the ace | PLAY Center. Must be an ace | PLAY member to participate.
NASCAR fans will also be able to see the #1 Dale Earnhardt Hall of Fame Camaro on display at Stratosphere. The official unveiling will be held on Saturday, December 4 at 2 p.m., and the Camaro will stay on display until the 2nd Annual Poker Tournament in March 2011. “This is an opportunity to be part of an historic tribute to a NASCAR legend,” said Michael McNamee, Vice President of Marketing at Stratosphere.
