Sugar Ray Leonard and Alan Thicke Attend Viva ELVIS by Cirque du Soleil
Boxing champion Sugar Ray Leonard attended Thursday’s 9:30pm performance of Viva ELVIS by Cirque du Soleil at ARIA Resort & Casino. In town for the Michael Jordan Celebrity Invitational, he remarked that Elvis was one of his idols, along with Muhammad Ali (Photo credit: Cashman Photo).
Accompanied by his wife and some friends, the group enjoyed popcorn while the champ took a minute to pose with two cast members.

Actor, author, talk and game show host Alan Thicke attended the 7pm performance of Viva ELVIS. Best known as TV dad Jason Seaver on Growing Pains, Thicke was accompanied by wife Tanya. Also in town golfing in the Michael Jordan Celebrity Invitational, Thicke left Shadow Creek Golf Course before finishing his round in order to make it to the show.
Thicke reminisced about a couple of encounters with Elvis backstage at a show in Vegas along with his brother. He was able to catch a scarf at the end of the show and raved about how much he enjoyed it.
