Syfy’s “Wizard Wars” Season Premiere Viewing Party at The Sand Dollar January 29
Syfy’s hit TV show Wizard Wars, created by Rick Lax, has been picked up for more episodes! The new season premieres on Thursday, January 29 at 10pm (Pictured: Rick Lax with magicians Sean Scott and Greg Dow).

The show’s creator, Rick Lax, is inviting fans of Wizard Wars to join him for a Season Premiere party he’s hosting at the The Sand Dollar Lounge in Las Vegas on Thursday, January 29 from 9pm-1am. Sand Dollar is an awesome blues bar just west of The Mirage. B.B. King and Mick Jagger used to swing by when they’d play Vegas.
“We’ll be watching the Wizard Wars broadcast, and then we’re going to hold a Live Wizard Wars Competition,” said Lax. “We’ve even got some magic-themed drink specials like the “Wizard Whiskey Sour” and Magic Hat Beer.”

All your Vegas favorites are back. Penn & Teller are still judging, Shimshi (the Wynn’s house magician) is still battling on Team Wizard, and so is Vegas’s own Justin Flom (who just starred in a Google Nexus commercial last week).
