T-Mobile Arena’s First Anniversary Celebration Kicks Off with a Habitat for Humanity Las Vegas
Yesterday, MGM Resorts International and Bank of America came together to build a Habitat for Humanity Las Vegas home on Toshiba Plaza in celebration of T-Mobile Arena’s first anniversary. More than 150 volunteers from Bank of America and MGM Resorts were working hard all day in their hard hats, swinging hammers and nailing lumber to construct the framework of a Habitat Las Vegas townhome.

As the beautiful day continued, volunteer builders and guests enjoyed live entertainment from local band, A-List as they performed a musical variety of top hits. Patrons also were treated to delectable bites from T-Mobile Arena, amongst other activities, including face painting and a balloon artist.

Immediately following the build, partner executives, including Bill Hornbuckle and Phyllis A. James of MGM Resorts International expressed their gratitude to the community for making the arena’s first year a success. A sizzle reel of top highlights from the arena’s first year also was showcased on T-Mobile Arena’s mesh screen.
