Tacos & Tequila Celebrates Cinco De Mayo with Sexy Las Vegas Latina Lorena Peril May 5

Tacos and Tequila (T&T) at Luxor Hotel and Casino will be the spiciest spot in town as singing starlet Lorena Peril from the steamy, adult revue, FANTASY, hosts a Cinco de Mayo fiesta Saturday, May 5 at 7 p.m. Following Peril’s appearance, DJ Larry Lynx spins party beats from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. as a few of FANTASY’s sexy dancers meet fans and “salud!” the holiday. 

Fiesta-goers looking to start the party early can do so by enjoying T&T’s signature Mariachi Brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The midday feast will feature a high-energy Mariachi band, two-for-one house margaritas and Bloody Marias, the Mexican version of a Bloody Mary. The T&T signature Bloody Maria is made with Jose Cuervo Especial Tequila and Chipotle Tabasco, topped with fresh cucumber and olive juice, and served with a green olive, Panela cheese and tomato skewer in a Gusanos salted rim glass.

Amigos also will enjoy cervezas in addition to plenty of drink specials including an $18 bucket of Sols; a “Seis y Seis” package, priced at $29 with six specialty tacos and six bottled beers; and the “Seis, Seis y Seis” special for $59, featuring six tequila shots in addition to tacos and beer. T&T also will offer specials that include a bottle of Dos Equis Lager and a shot of Patron for $10 and $5 well drinks, house wine and sangria.

In addition to the Mariachi brunch, T&T will offer partygoers an all-day Cinco de Mayo $5 happy hour menu from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., featuring chicken quesadillas, habañero wings, flautas, guacamole and more.

Named one of the best tequila bars of 2011 in America by USA Today, Tacos & Tequila embodies the cool modernism of Mexico City while incorporating traditional elements of Mexican style and Las Vegas flair. The color mixture of old and new creates a vivid picture of brushed aluminum, dark wood, leather, bright fabrics and colored glass. The focal point of T&T’s design is its abstract sombrero composed of 20 brushed-aluminum panels featuring thousands of laser-cut images, including two 30-foot dancing, tequila-drinking skeletons. Lit from within, the breathtaking panels stretch across the entire length of the restaurant floor and across the common area, connecting the T&T retail store and walk-up daiquiri bar.
