Tacos & Tequila Celebrates East Coast New Year’s Eve Countdown with FANTASY Ladies Dec. 31
Tacos & Tequila (T&T) will host the first New Year’s Eve celebration in Las Vegas with an East Coast-style party on Saturday, Dec. 31. Kicking off at 6 p.m., T&T will party like it’s 2012 with drink specials, a three-course tequila pairing menu and the ladies of FANTASY will toast the official East Coast countdown at 9 p.m. PST with a complimentary Patrón tequila shot for all partiers.

Whether in town from the East Coast, or trying to squeeze in as much New Year’s fun as possible, T&T at Luxor Hotel and Casino is the prime place to party for the final hours of 2011. Resident DJ will kick-off the evening celebration, pumping the hottest beats all-night long. Chef Saul Ortiz will offer a delicious and authentic prix fixe tasting menu with optional tequila pairing. The sexy FANTASY ladies will get partygoers ready to kiss 2011 goodbye as they lead the celebration counting down East Coast-style. When the famous ball drops in Times Square, T&T and the bevvy of beauties from FANTASY will welcome an early 2012 on The Strip.
T&T’s live Mariachi band will begin the New Year’s weekend festivities with their signature Mariachi brunch on Saturday and Sunday. Revelers can nurse their hangovers with T&T’s famous Bloody Marias, sizzling Mariachi brunch with the best Mexican fare in Las Vegas and two-for-one margaritas available from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. T&T will also feature a $20 Dos Equis beer and Patrón shot special at the daiquiri bar for all patrons to enjoy libations throughout the weekend.
Named one of the best tequila bars of 2011 in America by USA Today, Tacos & Tequila embodies the cool modernism of Mexico City while incorporating traditional elements of Mexican style and Las Vegas flair. The color mixture of old and new creates a vivid picture of brushed aluminum, dark wood, leather, bright fabrics and colored glass. The focal point of T&T’s design is its abstract sombrero composed of 20 brushed-aluminum panels featuring thousands of laser-cut images, including two 30-foot dancing, tequila-drinking skeletons. Lit from within, the breathtaking panels stretch across the entire length of the restaurant floor and across the common area, connecting the T&T retail store and walk-up daiquiri bar.
