Tacos & Tequila to Celebrate Spring Break with South of The Border Fiesta
Tacos & Tequila (T&T) at Luxor Hotel and Casino will host a wild South of the Border spring break fiesta with a lineup of food and drink specials available daily from Sunday, March 1 through Friday, April 10 (Pictured: Tacos & Tequila’s Chonga – Photo credit: Peter Harasty).
T&T will feature the Chonga, a giant 32-ounce daiquiri served with two upside-down, 7-ounce Sol beers flowing directly into the drink, priced at $25. “My Chonga is Bigger Than Yours!” shirts are available for purchase for $25, or for $15 when purchased with a Chonga. Other spring break specials will include the “Seis y Seis” package including six specialty tacos and six bottled Sol beers, priced at $29; and buckets of six bottled Sol beers for $18.
A happy hour menu will be offered Monday through Friday from 2 to 5 p.m. and will feature chips and salsa, priced at $3; T&T cheese sauce, priced at $5; guacamole, rolled taquitos and fiesta nachos, each priced at $6; and habanero chicken wings and chicken quesadillas, both priced at $7. Dos Equis bottles and Jose Cuervo shots are priced at $5; well drinks, house red or white wine and sangria are priced at $6.
T&T’s signature Mariachi Brunch will be offered every Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. with Executive Chef Saul Ortiz’s signature breakfast specialties including chilaquiles, huevos rancheros, machaca breakfast burritos and more.
Tacos & Tequila is located at Luxor Hotel and Casino. The 8,000-square-foot venue is open daily from 11 a.m. until 11 p.m. for lunch and dinner, as well as for a Mariachi Brunch every Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. The design embodies Mexican culture and a flavorful menu by Corporate Executive Chef Saul Ortiz.
