Taito, Japan’s Leading Arcade Gaming Company, to Host First-Ever US Event at The Wall at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino; Toushinsai-Vegas Qualifier to Take Place Aug. 1
Caesars Entertainment will host the North American qualifier of the largest of e-Arcade sports competitions when it welcomes Japanese company TAITO and their TOUSHINSAI-VEGAS qualifier competition to The Wall eSports Gaming Lounge in the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas on Thursday, Aug. 1, 2019 from 12- 6 p.m. PST.
This will be the first time they will hold a qualifying competition in North America which will be open to global competitors.

This tournament will be a three-on-three single elimination in Street Fighter V (Type Arcade from Capcom). It will be live streamed around the world and in other Caesars eSports venues such as at the LINQ Hotel + Experience. The winning team will receive a trip to Tokyo and automatic entry into the next TOUSHINSAI in Japan in 2020.

As the largest of e-Arcade sports competitions, TOUSHINSAI has been held in Japan by TAITO, creator of the iconic Space Invaders phenomenon, since 2015. More than 6,000 players from all over the world competed at the highest level during the recent 2018-2019 event.
The Wall at Caesars Entertainment’s Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino offers a stocked bar of craft beers, international street fare, as well as, a full technical suite of equipment. It also represents a new paradigm in eSports entertainment in the world’s premier entertainment city – Las Vegas.
