Tears For Fears to Perform at The Pearl at Palms Casino Resort December 13
Iconic ’80s synth-pop duo Tears for Fears will perform at The Pearl inside Palms Casino Resort on Dec.13, 2014 at 8 p.m. Tickets start at $43, plus any additional service fees.
Tears for Fears have been entertaining fans for nearly three decades epitomizing the ’80s in sound and maintaining a strong fan base in the decades since.
The duo of Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith released The Hurting in 1983, but exploded in popularity internationally with the 1985 release Songs from the Big Chair which reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200 charts and featured hits including “Shout,” “Everybody Wants to Rule the World,” and “Head Over Heels.”
1989’s follow up The Seeds of Love was also successful with the title track reaching the top of multiple rock charts and reached No. 2 on The Billboard Hot 100. Soon after the duo split while Orzabal continued making music as Tears for Fears. In 2004, they two reunited to record Everybody Loves a Happy Ending
On Nov. 10, 2014, Tears for Fears will re-release Songs from the Big Chair which will be available in five formats, including a six-disc deluxe edition box set featuring previously unreleased material, a 180 gram heavyweight LP and a 5.1 surround sound mix by Steven Wilson.
