Ted Torres Martin “The Soul of the King” Elvis Concert to Headline Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino 50th Anniversary Celebration
Ted Torres Martin “The Soul of the King” Elvis Concert is coming to Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino August 2-3, 2019 as part of the property’s 50th Anniversary celebrations this summer. World renowned, multi award-winning entertainer and recipient of the 2014 “Heart of the King” Award, Ted Torres Martin is proud to bring this live stage concert to the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino, the home of the iconic International Theater and Elvis’ first residency performances back in 1969.
Westgate Las Vegas is celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the property through the year, and “The Soul of the King” performances will highlight the biggest weekend of the celebration. Opened in 1969 as the International Hotel, it became the Las Vegas Hilton in 1971 and was home to some of the biggest entertainers to perform in Las Vegas. Westgate Resorts took over the historic property in 2014 and has been committed to bringing it back to its original glory days and as the home of Legendary Vegas Fun.
This musical performance will cover the story of Elvis’ music with songs that were performed during his residency at the International Theater starting in 1969. It will feature some of his greatest hits including Blue Suede Shoes,Jailhouse Rock, The Wonder Of You and even a few rare and classic tunes. This concert will include a full lineup of talented musicians with horns and strings. Making it truly special will be the inclusion of Elvis’ backup singers “The Sweet Inspirations” featuring original member Estelle Brown.
