The Best Meal in Las Vegas: Hakkasan Golden Week Menu
In celebration of the annual Chinese festival Golden WeekHakkasan Las Vegas, the ultra-luxe Cantonese restaurant, is launching a new Golden Week menu. Golden Week, which falls on the first week of October and marks the founding of modern China, is widely celebrated in China but remains relatively unknown in the United States. As such, the Golden Week menu was designed to pique Americans’ curiosity in the beloved holiday through luxe, gold-related ingredients (Hakkasan Golden Week Peking Duck with Gold Cavier – Photo credit: Joe Janet)

The four-course Golden Week menu is as follows:

  • Golden Opulence, a cocktail made with Beluga Gold Line vodka, Tatinger Brut Champagne, Joto yuzu sake and rock melon syrup that is garnished with gold dust
  • Golden Hakka dim sum platter, which includes har gau, traditional Cantonese shrimp dumplings in a delicate and translucent wrapper, Chinese chive and chicken and pak choy dumplings
  • Golden Peking duck: a reimagination of Hakkasan’s beloved signature dish that is served two ways – first, with spring pancakes, cucumbers and scallions and topped with Golden Osetra, a rare variety of caviar that adds an exquisite burst of brine to the dish; the remaining duck is stir-fried with your choice of umami-packed XO sauce or aromatic black bean sauce.
  • Golden Ring: a beautiful dessert made with black tea, yuzu pears, a ginger infusion and dulcey cream

The Golden Week menu serves up to four people and will be available at Hakkasan from October 1 to 7 for $388/$888 (with a bottle of Louis Roederer Cristal).
