The Grammy Award-winning band Black Keys performed a sold out show at The Chelsea at Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas on Saturday night, February 19, 2011 (Photo: © Erik Kabik/ RETNA/ www.erikkabik.com).
You could feel the excitement as fans made their way to The Chelsea for the highly anticipated first of two shows this weekend in Las Vegas. It was the first show that’s been held at the venue since the New Year’s Eve show with Jay-Z, Coldplay, Beyonce, John Mayer and Kanye West. Opening for the band was Cage the Elephant.
The Black Keys are a Grammy award-winning American blues-rock music duo consisting of vocalist/guitarist Dan Auerbach and drummer/producer Patrick Carney. The band was formed in Akron, Ohio, in 2001. As of October 2010, the band has sold over 1.7 million records
