The Broadway Theater Debuts at New York-New York Hotel & Casino May 1

New York-New York Hotel & Casino has announced the opening of The Broadway Theater, a live performance venue featuring afternoon and evening shows. Located next to Nine Fine Irishmen, the intimate theater will be the new home for various hit shows presented by British producer David King of Spirit Productions.

The neon lights will shine bright at The Broadway Theater as “Spirit of the Dance” with special guests Dublin’s Irish Tenors premieres Tuesday, May 1, while “Dancing Queen,” one of the most popular ABBA shows worldwide, has an anticipated debut in early May.

“With the introduction of The Broadway Theater, we look forward to offering our guests these exciting, vibrant show options when planning a Las Vegas escape,” said Cynthia Kiser Murphey, president and COO of New York-New York. “David King Productions has a history of successful shows in many of the world’s most popular tourist destinations. New York-New York’s guests will want to be a part of this brand of entertainment.”

“Spirit of the Dance” has been seen by more than 30 million people worldwide, breaking box office records in more than 20 countries. The world champion dancers will be joined by special guests Dublin’s Irish Tenors, a talented group of Ireland’s finest singers who perform several styles of music including famous Irish Classics, opera, pop and swing. “Spirit of the Dance” with special guests Dublin’s Irish Tenors will perform at 4 p.m., Tuesday – Sunday (dark Monday).

Filling The Broadway Theater’s 8 p.m. time-slot Tuesday – Sunday (dark Monday) will be “Dancing Queen,” a non-stop, fun-filled tribute to Swedish pop group ABBA, featuring the music from the hit Broadway show “Mamma Mia.” This high-octane, musical extravaganza features a dynamic cast of singers and dancers performing ABBA’s greatest hits including “Money Money Money,” Waterloo” and “Dancing Queen.”

I love the feel of the intimate space that will provide the audience a new, up-close-and-personal experience.”
