The Bunkhouse Saloon, 124 S. 11th St., was established in 1953 and has earned a reputation over the past decade as one of Las Vegas’ best places to see established and emerging bands. Purchased by Downtown Project in 2013, The Bunkhouse Saloon will re-launch on Aug. 25 after closing last summer for restoration.

Renovations to The Bunkhouse Saloon included installation of a new ceiling and exterior wall, as well as extending the length of the building to accommodate a new top of the line kitchen, a new stage, and a state-of-the-art Meyer Sound System.

The renovations also include a new entrance to The Bunkhouse Saloon, located on the north side of the building with access off of Fremont Street. The Bunkhouse Saloon will also have new outdoor seating in the backyard, with a pick-up window providing food and beverage service.

The Bunkhouse Saloon will also unveil a new menu when it reopens next month, including a selection of four Sloppy Joes, including beef, pork, turkey or vegetarian options, shortrib sandwiches, and other bar fare favorites including fried pickles and deviled eggs.

The Bunkhouse Saloon will be open Sunday through Thursday, 5 p.m. to midnight, and Friday and Saturday, 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. For more information about The Bunkhouse Saloon, visit bunkhousedowntown.com, facebook.com/bunkhouselv or twitter.com/bunkhouselv
