The D and Golden Gate Casino Hotels Draw Celebrities, Leprechauns, Green Beer, and Green Horns to Downtown’s Biggest St. Patrick’s Day Party
The things that may come to mind when you hear the words “the D Casino“ is the nonstop party atmosphere as well as their red and black color scheme. Both of those staples were still intact last weekend, with an addition of the color green! A sizable flow of both tourists and locals streamed into the downtown hot spot to see what kind of St. Patrick’s Day festivities were being carried into the night. The real question is: what WASN’T happening?

Guests couldn’t believe their eyes as they were greeted by a fun group of appropriately-dressed “leprechauns” who were sitting on the ledge of the D Bar, right next to the sexy, scantily dressed Slush Girls! Just in case that wasn’t a good enough “welcome”, there was even more excitement taking place at the property’s world famous LONGBAR.

Shorty Rossi, the star of Animal Planet’s Pit Boss, felt right at home in his seat at the LONGBAR as countless fans approached him for selfies. Counting Cars reality star, Horny Mike, was decked out in his greenest attire (horns included) as he partied the night away in style. He wanted to make sure everybody was feeling their horniest, so he passed out some matching replica horns to famed Flair Bartenders and casino guests- one of those guests being Guinness World Records holder, George Bell who was sporting his “I got Lucky at the D” shirt. Bell is currently the second tallest man in the U.S. and also quite possibly the second most frequent guest at the D Casino (Horny Mike may place first).

The crowd was lively and impressed by the simultaneous moments of excitement; from the rhythmic hips of the sexy Dancing Dealers, to the flair skills showcased by the world famous Flair Bartenders, and everything in between.

Casino owner, Derek Stevens, and his lovely wife, Nicole, were picture perfect for the occasion as they made green an honorary D color for the night. Co-owner Greg Stevens was even caught posing for a few photos.
