Vegas Rocks! Magazine has announced the Fourth Annual Vegas Rocks! Magazine Music Awards 2013 (Pictured: Zakk Wylde).
This event will be celebrating Vegas Rocks! Magazine’s 9th Anniversary in production. And to mark this amazing event, the Vegas Rocks! Magazine Music Awards will be held Sunday, August 25, 2013 at the Las Vegas Hard Rock Hotel & Casino inside The Joint.

“A Celebration of Classic Rock”
Rock n’ Roll history Part 4 will take place again with this year’s theme of “A Celebration of Classic Rock” and will feature some of the most legendary artists in the music business. Jon Anderson (Yes) will be honored with the “Voice Of Progressive Music” award, Carl Palmer (Emerson Lake & Palmer / Asia) will receive the “Drum Legend Icon” award, Zakk Wylde will receive the “Riff Monster” award and newcomer Laura Wilde will receive “Best New Female Artist” award.

Geoff Tate’s Queensryche will open the show with a performance, Carl Palmer will be performing a historic ELP song with Jordan Rudess from Dream Theater and Rudy Sarzo (Dio / Quiet Riot) and Jon Anderson will also perform with Carl Palmer. Slaughter will also be honored for the evening and will be participating in the All-Star Celebrity Jam for the finale of the show with Vince Neil (Motley Crue), Simon Wright (AC/DC) James Kottak (The Scorpions) and many others.

Other participants for the show include Mark Kendall and Michael Lardie (Great White), Chris Holmes (W.A.S.P.), Ron Jeremy, DJ Ashba (Guns N’ Roses) and many more. The event will be co-hosted by the Publishing Queen of Rock N’ Roll, Sally Steele, Vegas Rocks! Magazine Publisher/ Founder/ CEO and James Kottak from The Scorpions. The event will be preceded by a Grand Rock N’ Roll Royal Red Carpet Media Event with appearances from some of the most famous rock artists in the music industry. This will truly be a night to remember for Rock n’ Roll!

Vegas Rocks! has been keeping the world of rock music in the mainstream media for the past 9 years in print as well as being a major force in music internet media. The Vegas Rocks! Magazine Music Awards 2012 was a huge success. It was broadcast live nationally on AXS TV (Mark Cuban/Ryan Seacrest’s new channel).
