The Improv at Harrah’s Las Vegas: This Week’s Headliner – Bruce Fine

Budd Friedman and Mark Lonow’s world-famous Improv Comedy Club at Harrah’s Las Vegas showcases a different marquee of acts each week. Bruce Fine takes the stage tomorrow through Sunday, with supporting acts Scott Kennedy and Flip Schultz. Improv shows are at 8:30pm and 10:30pm every Tuesday through Sunday.

The class clown from kindergarten through Boston University, Bruce Fine was destined for a career in comedy. After moving to LA in the early 90’s to “hit the stand-up scene” and winning the Grand Prize on America’s Funniest People, he was on his way.

His streetwise style mixed with his boyish looks and charm have won over audiences across the country. It’s also earned him roles on King of Queens, My Wife and Kids, and Married With Children, along with national commercials for Toyota, Volkswagen, and Direct TV.

Recruited out of the comedy clubs by the famed Wayans Brothers family, he has since gone on to be a writer/producer on Thugaboo, My Wife and Kids, The Wayans Brothers & Keenen. He has also contributed on their hit movies Little Man, Scary Movies 1 & 2 and Don’t Be a Menace, and is currently writing and developing new projects with their company.

As a comedy producer on the Wayne Brady Show, Bruce was nominated for a 2004 Emmy Award. His first stand-up CD, Actual Size, just received a four star review. In between all of this, Bruce headlines comedy clubs, corporate shows, charity benefits, and a national tour with Shawn Wayans.

He recently appeared on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno and on Comics Unleashed. He was also a popular semi-finalist on NBC’s Last comic Standing 4.

Tickets are $29.05 (plus applicable taxes) or $44.95 (plus applicable taxes) for VIP tickets that include special seating, an Improv t-shirt and post-show meet-and-greet with the comics. Special two-for-one tickets are also available for locals during the 10:30pm show. Tickets are available at Harrah’s Box Office (702-369-5223) and online at www.harrahs.com.
