On Thursday, Oct. 29 from 6-10 p.m., local families participated in the annual Triq or Treat event throughout the promenade with face painters and atmospheric street musicians while retailers handed out candy.

On the evening of Friday, Oct. 30, the High Roller observation wheel partnered with St. Jude’s Children Ranch in Boulder City, NV to offer a special Halloween trick-or-treat event for approximately 30 kids ranging from infants to 17-year-olds. The kids dressed in costume, received a gift bag and refreshments, went trick-or-treating throughout the promenade and experienced the world’s tallest observation wheel at 550 feet above the Las Vegas Strip. Additionally, a Thriller flash mob performed in the promenade at 7 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

During the Halloween Bash on Saturday, Oct. 31 from 6 p.m. to midnight, all types of spooky, iconic and creative costumes filled The LINQ Promenade, spanning 1,340 feet (a quarter of a mile) from the Las Vegas Boulevard steps to the base of the High Roller observation wheel.

At 9 p.m., dynamic entertainer and world champion juggler Jeff Civillico, who headlines a comedy show at Flamingo Las Vegas, cohosted the annual Halloween costume contest with Mr. Lucky from O’Sheas Casino, Brian Thomas. The top five contestants showcased on stage included “Balloon Día de los Muertos,” “Cyber Angel,” “El Diablo,” “House Stark Family” from hit TV show “Game of Thrones,” and “Hulkbuster” from Marvel Comics. Based on the audience’s cheers, the “House Stark Family” walked away with $3,500 for first place, “Balloon Día de los Muertos” won $1,000 for second place and “Hulkbuster” received $500 for third place – amounting to $5,000 total in cash prizes.

In addition to the adult costume contest, local band KARMA performed live pop, rock and dance hits at The LINQ fountain stage. Guests also enjoyed street musicians, face painters and creepy atmospheric elements throughout the promenade as they sipped on drink specials from Modelo and Corona.

Lit up with a Halloween-themed light pattern, the High Roller welcomed riders to the official Zombie Zone. The world’s tallest observation wheel incorporated themed décor, as well as actors and staff dressed as zombies throughout the experience.
