On Friday, May 5, tens of thousands of Cinco de Mayo revelers crowded The LINQ Promenade to celebrate the festive Mexican holiday. Party-goers enjoyed a live nine-piece Mariachi band, Viajero, accompanied by traditional Mariachi dancers and red, green and white decor.

Chayo Mexican Kitchen + Tequila Bar served up street tacos, Mexican style corn and margarita specials throughout the day, along with live entertainment, while other restaurants featured Cinco de Mayo-inspired drink and food specials.

At the High Roller Observation Wheel, the popular Happy Half Hour transformed into a Tequila Takeover where Sauza Blue hosted in-cabin demonstrations on how to make the perfect margarita. Happy Half Hour is one 30-minute rotation with an in-cabin open bar.
