The New REMIX Lounge Now Open at The STRAT Hotel, Casino and SkyPod
The new REMIX Lounge, located on the main casino floor at The STRAT Hotel, Casino and SkyPod, opened on Friday, Oct. 4. The stylish lounge serves up signature cocktails, as well as hosts live music with bands performing 80s and 90s favorites, every weekend.
Signature cocktails have been created by Jason Shullo, Golden Entertainment, Inc.’s corporate vice president of food and beverage and an award-winning mixologist. They include Epic Jack, made with Jack Daniels, amaretto and apple juice, topped with ginger beer; Golden Hour, made with Bacardi, blue curacao, pineapple juice and lemon juice; and Jumping Empress, made with empress gin, maraschino liqueur, lemon juice and simple syrup.
The REMIX stage will showcase high-energy bands from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. every Friday and Saturday night. Upcoming performances include CRUSH, a classic rock back on Friday, Nov. 8 and Saturday, Nov. 9; and Anthem Road, a tribute band to the decades on Friday, Nov. 15 and Saturday, Nov. 16 . A spacious dance floor offers plenty of room for dancing.
REMIX is equipped with sound system technology from J.B.L., the company behind the sound in many of the modern movie theaters and stadiums around the world. The stage quickly converts into an HDTV projection screen with high-resolution video from a 12,000-lumen projector, making it ideal for taking in football games. The bar offers a combination of IGT, International Game Technology, and Aristocrat bar top games.
