The Presidents of the United States of America
will perform a free concert during Fremont Street Experience’s Rock of Vegas summer concert series on Saturday, Aug. 3 at 9 p.m. at the 1st Street Stage.

The legendary downtown Las Vegas entertainment venue will transform into summer’s alternative destination through Labor Day weekend with a free concert series that showcases a stellar lineup of bands that take music to the edge.

The Presidents of the United States of America
The Seattle-based trio first burst into the public eye with its debut on the strength of radio smashes like “Lump” and “Peaches.” The band continues to thrive as an enduring modern rock disc since peaking at #6 on the Billboard Top 200. 1996’s II rocked just as hard, giving birth to the full throttle “Mach Five,” which fostered The Presidents of the United States of America’s most imaginative and infamous music video. Meanwhile, accelerated fan favorites like “Lunatic to Love” and “Tiki God” left their imprint on then-up and-comers, The Hives.

In 2008, The Presidents of the United States of America delivered an inventive, uplifting and often brilliant rock and roll album with These Are The Good Times People. To this day, the band’s high energy shows continue to pack venues all over the world, selling out shows in London, Amsterdam, New York, Sydney and Seattle on its last world trek.

Rockin’ Viva Vision Shows
Seven nights a week, Viva Vision (the world’s largest video screen at 1,500 feet long and 90 feet wide) showcases custom productions synced to the smash hits of some of rock’s most legendary bands. The nightly lineup of Viva Vision shows includes the newest Viva Vision show “Heart – Crazy on Vegas” built around three of the band’s most iconic and popular songs: “Magic Man,” “Barracuda” and “Crazy on You.” Viva Vision also showcases “Bon Jovi – Wanted in Vegas,” which features the three songs “It’s My Life,” “Who Says You Can’t Go Home” and the band’s signature song, and one of rock’s most memorable anthems, “Livin’ On A Prayer.” Other shows featured are “A Tribute to Queen,” “The Doors – Strange Days in Vegas” and more.
