The Shade Tree’s “Mask Off Gala” to Honor Christina Aguilera, Oct. 3; Tickets for the Shelter’s 30th Anniversary Celebration on Sale Now
The Shade Tree, a 24-hour accessible shelter designed to specifically meet the needs of women and children in crisis, celebrates its 30th anniversary this year with its Mask Off Gala, including a special honor for Multi-Platinum singer-songwriter, Christina Aguilera (pictured), who has been a recent supporter of the organization. The gala will be held at Mansion 54 from 7 to 10 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 3, and tickets are on sale now (Photo credit: Milan Zrnic).
General admission tickets are $200 and include open bar, entertainment, silent auction and “A Taste of DTLV,” featuring a variety of signature bites from downtown Las Vegas’ most popular eateries.
In addition, community members, companies and organizations are invited to support The Shade Tree through Gala sponsorships, which range from $2,500 to $25,000. For sponsorship packages of $10,000 and more, sponsors will have access to a VIP cocktail reception from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. which includes signature cocktails created by The Golden Tiki, passed appetizers, VIP gift bags and a meet-and-greet with Executive Director of The Shade Tree, Linda Perez.

Last month, Christina Aguilera also announced that $1 of every ticket purchased to Christina Aguilera: The Xperience at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, will be donated back to The Shade Tree. The Shade Tree is Southern Nevada’s only 24-hour accessible emergency shelter for women and children in crisis, servicing many who are victims of domestic violence and/or human trafficking. The Shade Tree Shelter offers 364 permanent beds and provides over 100,000 nights of shelter over 165,000 meals every year. On average The Shade Tree provides assistance to 15 new families each day and helps over 6,000 women and children annually. The Shade Tree facility offers residential areas with sleeping rooms, libraries, training rooms, children’s playrooms, meals, and laundry services. Additionally, it offers programs and services for women and children including life skills, workforce readiness, health services, and housing assistance.
