The Society Bar Opens Featuring Creative Libations and a Twist On Traditional Beverage Service
Society Café Encore, the popular restaurant concept that takes the café and art of dining to a whole new imaginative level, announces the launch of The Society Bar at the restaurant on May 22, 2009.
The intimate bar provides the perfect setting for guests to grab a specialty cocktail at any hour. Start the day with a Bloody Mary from the restaurant’s extensive “Bloody Society” menu while dining on steak and egg sliders, grab a creative cocktail in the afternoon from “Oliver’s Twists” and cap a long night with an adventurous creation from the specialty menu featuring Absinthe.
Specialty cocktails on the “Oliver’s Twists” menu include the Pineapple Mojito with Appleton Estate, VX Rum, Fresh Pineapple, Spearmint and Fresh Lime; the Blackberry Margarita with Sauza Hornitos, Patron Citronge and Fresh Black Berries; and the Ragin’ Bull with Absolut Black 100 Vodka, Red Bull and Muddled Fresh Berries.
Selections from the “Bloody Society” menu include the Ragin’ Cajun Mary with Absolute Peppar, Bayou Seasoning and Spiced Tiger Shrimp; the Dirty Mary with Skyy, Olive Juice and a Blue Cheese Stuffed Olive; and the Society Classic Bloody with Skyy, Society Seasoning, Lime and Olive.
The “Society Mojito” menu enhances the diverse selection of beverage options with choices such as the Coconut Copacabana with Cruzan Coconut & Bacardi Light, Fresh Coconut Milk, Lime and Mint; and the Watermelon Mojito with Cruzan Light, Watermelon Liqueur, Fresh Lime and Mint.
The Society Bar is open Sunday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 7 a.m. to 1 a.m. inside Society Café Encore. Reservations for dining are encouraged and can be made by calling (702) 248-DINE (3463) or (888) 352-DINE (3463).
