The Space Enlists Legendary Las Vegas Comedian Louie Anderson for “Louie Anderson Presents: The After Show” - A Late Night, Monthly Comedy Extravaganza Premiering March 18
Starting in March, mystery comics will begin a monthly invasion of The Space at “Louie Anderson Presents: The After Show.” The beloved comedian will bring together some of Vegas’ premier comics for a no-holes-barred late night of fun, fame and laughs to The Space’s intimate back room.

Structured like a New York City intimate comedy cabaret, “The After Show” will be the place to see up and coming comedians, established comics workshopping new material and perhaps catch a glimpse of Strip headliners wanting to continue the laughs. “The After Show” premieres on Saturday March 18. Soon to be the hottest ticket in town, seating is extremely limited to 150 guests and tickets for the March 18 performance are $20 per person and on sale now online at www.thespacelv.com.

Upcoming dates for “Louie Anderson Presents: The After Show” include:

  • Saturday, April 22
  • Saturday, May 13
  • Saturday, June 17
  • Saturday, July 15

In the spirit of Mondays Dark, Anderson created “The After Show” as a vehicle to give back to the local, Las Vegas community, while giving a comedians a place to congregate for impromptu laughs after their nightly gigs. Much like a comedy version of MTV’s “Unplugged,” each performance will showcase a variety of talent that is never advertised – guests won’t know until they take their seats in the audience.

Iconic comedian Louie Anderson, the three-time Emmy Award winner, is one of the country’s most recognized and adored comics; named by Comedy Central as “One of 100 Greatest Stand-Up Comedians of All Time.” His career has spanned more than 35 years. He is a best-selling author, star of his own standup specials and sitcoms and he continues to tour the country performing to standing-room-only crowds worldwide.

In 2016 Anderson was cast to co-star along with Zach Galifianakis and Martha Kelly in the hit FX comedy series Baskets. Anderson plays the extraordinary role of Christine, the matriarch of the Baskets clan. He based the character on his mother and his five sisters who were all a major presence in his life. Anderson won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for his role as Christine Baskets in 2016.

Tickets are $20 and are general admission only. Tickets for the opening performance on March 18 are on sale now online at www.thespacelv.com or at The Space box office at 3460 Cavaretta Court.
