The Strip Gets Raw with New Cookie Dough Dessert Bar at Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Las Vegas
Las Vegas spoonlickers – UNITE!  Doughp (pronounced ‘dope’) is coming in fresh from the Bay Area, making a new home at Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.  The second outpost, and first Vegas location, caters to the sweetest addiction of all – raw edible cookie dough in a fun, booze-free bar environment.

Cookie dough lovers will dive spoon (or face) first into endless cookie dough flavor combinations that can all be enjoyed raw or taken home to bake.  Doughp is set to have a ridiculously fun grand opening on Saturday, March 16 beginning at noon – offering sweet Doughp gift bags to the first 50 people in line, additional raffles and an appearance by #Doughp4Hope collab partners, The Chippendales, direct from their home at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino.

“I started my journey into sobriety in 2015 and without that decision, undoubtedly, Doughp would not exist today,” said Doughp founder and fearless leader, Kelsey Witherow.  “I rediscovered my passions and set off to make people smile with this nostalgic dessert. I’m here to show others struggling from addiction that the grass is WAY greener on the other side and to elevate the conversation around addiction and mental health. We’re all going through something — let’s talk about it.”

The Doughp storefronts give Witherow the opportunity to create a booze-free ‘bar’ environment and let people have a kick-ass time, take part in some self-care with a scoop of cookie dough, and make new friends – no liquid courage necessary!  “With that mission in mind, it was a no-brainer that I needed to bring Doughp to the epicenter of Sin City, The Las Vegas Strip. We’re ready to bring people together and remind everyone it’s ok to not be ok all the time,” she continues.

The cookie dough bar is 900 square feet of straight-up memory lane; filled with the glow of the neon lights, bumping 90’s jams, foosball table, high school bleachers, and more. Dropping by after-hours? Doughp has your back with their 24/7 vending machine called the “Doughp Dealer” – instead of dealing cards, get dealt a jar of edible cookie dough. Guests can also watch real-time as their dough is made from scratch; taking drool-worthy videos through the glass as 50 pounds of cookie dough comes together.  Doughp will boast a fun and customizable “Dough-It-Yourself” Bar where guests can select from one of three sizes: Self Control (1 Scoop), Legit (2 Scoops), or Fully Commit (3 Scoops) and customize their cookie dough with whatever “mix” fits their mood – including chocolate chips, sprinkles, childhood cereals, peanut butter, or even chocolate sauce from a three-tier chocolate fountain.  Doughp also offers options for the indecisive spoonlickers including popular “Doughp Remixes” like This S’more is Hella Lit (cookie dough with graham cracker pieces, marshmallows, chocolate chips and a chocolate drizzle), Cinnamood (snickerdoodle cookie dough with white chocolate chips), Cookie Monsta (blue cookie dough with Oreo) and a special Vegas flavor Vegas Blackout (black chocolate chip cookie dough with gold sprinkles, inspired by a certain local hockey team).

Enjoy the sweetness of giving back by choosing the #Doughp4Hope Remix.  For the cookie dough bar’s first collaboration, they have partnered with Las Vegas’ Chippendales.  No strangers to the charitable scene in Las Vegas, the Chippendales are excited for Doughp to feature the Chipp-tastic (a “chipp”-filled cookie dough with chocolate chips, peanut butter chips and potato chips).  Because life can be both salty and sweet, 100 percent of proceeds from this flavor will be donated to the Nevada Chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.  The #Doughp4Hope campaign raises awareness to mental health issues and substance abuse encouraging guests to enjoy life’s sweetest moments and practice sweet acts of self-love.  The store will also allow guests to sign their #Doughp4Hope pledge, reminding us that life is raw and the struggle is real – for all of us. The menu will highlight a dedicated flavor every six months and 100-percent of the proceeds is donated back to a local mental health nonprofit.

Offering a “Happy Hour You’ll Actually Remember” menu, Doughp’s liquor-free bar will mix up creative mocktails and offer rounds of milk “shots” to accompany your cookie dough. Guests can also enjoy cookie dough milkshakes and coffee drinks from a full espresso bar featuring coffee by Big House Beans, a coffee roaster providing opportunity for those with barriers to employment; including customizable latte art printed with the RippleMaker. Doughp will let sweet-aholics quench their thirst and continue proving you don’t need booze to have a good time.

Doughp Las Vegas will be open daily from 10 a.m. – midnight. Doughp is located near PBR American Bar & Grill in the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino at 3663 S. Las Vegas Blvd.  For more information, visit www.eatdoughp.com.
