Get ready for rock n’ roll history Part 3 as The 3rd annual Vegas Rocks! Magazine Awards 2012 gets ready to rock The Joint on Sunday, August 26 at the Las Vegas Hard Rock Hotel & Casino (Pictured above: Sammy Hagar).
Vegas Rocks! Magazine is proud to be celebrating their 8 year Anniversary in a big way as The Rock n’ Roll Royal Red Carpet will be rolled out for some of the biggest stars in the music business.

Many national artists are already confirmed to be honored including Sammy Hagar, David Coverdale (Whitesnake) and Michael Schenker (UFO/The Scorpions), Geoff Tate (Queensryche) with many other great performers pending confirmation as the date draws near.

Also in presenting or performing will be Michael Anthony (Van Halen), John 5 (Marilyn Manson/ Rob Zombie) Eddie Trunk (VH1’s That Metal Show), Levi Benton (Miss May I), Mark Kendall ( Great White), Night Ranger (members TBA – Jack Blades, Brad Gillis), Valora, Blas Elias (Slaughter), Oz Fox (Stryper), Nick Oshiro (Static X), Marq Torien (The Bullet Boys), Frankie Moreno, The Wabos, Ron Jeremy, The Sin City Sinners, Ron Keel, Otis Day, Chris Phillips (Zowie Bowie) and more.
9 categories of the best local Las Vegas bands and artists are nominated to win in their category. Many more special guests TBA.
Sammy Hagar will be honored with the prestigious “Voice Of Rock” award during a night that will go down in rock n’ roll history. David Coverdale will be honored with the “Lifetime Achievement in Rock n’ Roll” Award. Michael Schenker will receive the “Rock Guitar Legend” Award. Geoff Tate will receive the “Voice in Progressive Heavy Metal” Award. Sammy Hagar will take the stage to perform a tribute for Ronnie Montrose as well as leading the All-Star Celebrity performance for the Grand Finale for the evening. The show will be hosted again this year by the Publishing Queen of Rock n Roll, Sally Steele – Vegas Rocks! Magazine’s Publisher/ Founder, to celebrate the magazine’s 8 years in production.
